The S&MB Competition Committee is comprised of the four co-founders of the league: Commissioner Greg Mammolitti, Deputy Commissioner Rob Meyers, and charter owners Evan Shenkman and Doug Sonneberg. The Competition Committee meets before the beginning of each fantasy season and sets the framework for the season. The Committee reviews the rules from the previous season and decides if any changes are to be made in areas such as scoring, trade procedures and deadlines, as well as entry fees and prize payouts. Additionally, the Committee members will hold the random "drawing" which will determine the order in which owners may select their all-important draft position for the upcoming season.
During the season, the Competition Committee may be "convened" to make decisions arising from disputes over the interpretation of the league's rules. Additionally, the Committee is consulted on all decisions made by the Commissioner regarding the membership status of any member of the league.
